For my dad, it was a short visit to the hospital last night. He was sent to the emergency room because he had a low heart rate. Now, he is back at the rehabilitation center. Good news. He also called me this morning as well. He sounds fine.
In other news, I was watching the 6am news this morning (I wasn't up that early but had it recorded), there is finally going to be a law here hopefully by June, that will give drivers a heavy fine if their music is too loud in their cars. All I have to say to that is...
It's about fricking time!
I am tired of people in their cars driving past our house with their music so loud that it shakes the house! I hope it wakes people up. I am just surprised that some of these people have not got into accidents yet.
When your driving and it is that loud, you can't hear anything else around you. It's a distration to you, and to others trying to pay attention to the road.
I mean, how do you know when there is an ambulance trying to get through or maybe someone honking their horn to caution you about something?
It's ok to have music going in your car, but the noise should be limited to where you can hear shit around you as well!

People here also drive like that. Their music is so loud that it vibrates in your car and you know that they can't hear anything else. I wish there would be some kind of law here for that.
I guess what is going to happen for the moment, is the police are going to have some type of equiptment where it measures the deciples of sound coming from the vehicles. If it is too loud, they will get pulled over, start out with a warning and be sent the new law that will take effect in June by mail. After that, they will be getting heavy fines and things.
(raising my hand) I volunteer for an officer to place one of those decible boxes in my living room and attach a sensor to my front window!! They can test it on nearly a daily basis!
