Since it was so nice yesterday here, I ditched out on doing laundry for the day. Some of these pictures are practice shots for me to see what my camera's capabilities are. For dial-up users, you will appeciate this. Just click on the thumbnail picture and it will take you to the picture's actual size.
Picture Descriptions:
Row #1: practice close-up shot of the rocks and water, practice shot of the water hotting the rocks, distant picture of the lake, a "No Outlet" sign not too far from my house.
Row #2: plane tracks in the sky, the Milwaukee River, the building is a bathroom in the park...hehe, practice shot of the rocks and water.
Row #3: all of these are either practice shots of the water and the rocks or moving water on the lake.
Row #4: test shot of the waves on the water, testing a close-up with my zoom feature, distant picture of the lake, up high using zoom feature of the rocks and water.
Row #5: distant shot of the waves and rocks, distant practice shot of people by the lake, using my zoom feature from a distance of people by the lake, beautiful picture of the lake from a distance.
Row #6: I guess this would be called the pond near the lake looking to the city, using my zoom feature from a distance of a boat by the Marina, the tear down of a landmark (there was a building there where the boats used to dock), the opposite side of the docking area where the building used to be.
Row #7: Picture of some boats by the Marina, and behind that was this graffitti (warning! explicit words for those who don't like that type of thing), and finally the sign for McKinley Beach.
==========
In other news, child got a pending suspension from one of the teachers, but the principle said last time that he could be kicked out of the school the next time. So hopefully, that doesn't happen today. Wish us luck!

Hi, first time I visited your blog. Nice pics. What I thought was a cute little home turned out to be the park bathrooms. Man, was I off the mark!
I supose it could be a home for some. I think my fiancee lives in ours. hehe.
But from a distance, it does look like a small home doesn't it?
Cool pics...what kind of camera do you have?
I have a Kodak Easyshare C613 6.2 megapixels with a 3 time optical zoom
i love the pictures
Thank you!

Thank you. I take my time with them. I just practice with close ups and think about what I think would look good and maybe to others. Just alot of practice is all. I like taking pictures and I like looking at other's people's photography. It's an art to me.
